formal notice for all followers not residing in europe,
in about 20 minutesright now the eurovision song contest airs, something that will cause temporary insanity and render all europeans unable to think clearly. during these three hours we will get drunk and sing along to old russian ladies and sickly sweet love ballads alike. eastern european countries will give all eastern european countries high scores, meanwhile all western european countries will be punishing their neighbors via points for every political decision made since the 1940s. tonight we cease being functional humans and relent to the hilarity of a wide spectrum of strange accents, outfits that would have been rejected by liberace himself, and men with tom selleck-esque mustaches hitting on the bewildered 45-year old ex model who will inevitably be hosting the show. tonight, europe goes to war.
